What is the minimum order?
Our minimum order is $5.00 plus shipping. We offer 1st Class Mail shipping on all orders shipped within the USA, or Priority Shipping for $5.25 for orders up to $50.00.

Do you charge sales tax?
Only on orders with a billing address in New York State. Tax rate is 8.375%

Are the tattoos safe and non-toxic?
Yes. All ingredients are FDA approved. Our tattoos are printed in the USA using FDA certified, non-toxic inks on a special gel coated paper. The ingredients are listed on the back of each tattoo. As with most cosmetics, do not apply to sensitive areas or close to eyes.

Do the tattoos come individually precut or are there multiple designs on a sheet we have to cut out with scissors?
Almost all of our designs come 1 tattoo per sheet as shown when you click on the image. No cutting is necessary with the exception of only a few designs, as well as the "letters and numbers". 

How are the tattoos applied?
Skin should be clean and free of oils and makeup. All tattoos come with a clear protective top sheet. 1) Remove plastic sheet and press tattoo firmly onto clean, dry skin with design facing down. 2) Hold wet cloth or paper towel against back of tattoo, press down and make sure to wet it thoroughly. Wait 30 seconds and gently peel off backing. 3) Allow to air dry before touching or covering with clothing.

Do you have a printed catalog?
Yes. Our current 16 page full color catalog is included with all new orders.

Are the tattoos waterproof?
Yes. The tattoos will last through swimming or showers, and are resistant to most soaps.

How are the tattoos removed?
Saturate tattoo area on skin with baby oil or household rubbing alcohol. Wait 10 seconds then rub away tattoo with cotton ball.

How long do the tattoos last on skin?
The tattoos can last from one day to one week. Average time is 3 days, but with care can last a week. Much depends on a persons skin type, how rough they are on the tattoo and where they place it on their body. Heavy clothing abrasion and body abrasion tend to wear them out the quickest. The tattoo will gradually fade because of natural body oils.

How do we place an order?
Orders can be placed online, faxed, phoned or mailed. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. All orders must be prepaid. If paying by check or money order, or if you wish to fax your credit card info, please use our printable order form.

Are the tattoos packaged for retail?
We offer both "unpackaged" and "packaged for retail" tattoos. Our retail packaged tattoos have a single punch hang hole suitable for most existing retail displays. We also offer a spinning countertop display for the retail packaged tattoos. All of our stock tattoos, as well as the tattoo parlor package deals, are unpackaged and they arrive in plastic zip lock bags according to size of order.

Can we use the tattoo designs on your website?
Only for marketing material that promotes the reselling of our tattoos. All of the images are copyrighted by East Coast Tattoos and all Rights are Reserved. Any reproduction into temporary tattoos or any other printed matter besides marketing material is strictly prohibited!!!
